Disrupted (2019)

What happens when coincidences are too coincidental? Is a happy life as happy and complete as it should be? Disrupted explores the twists and turns of life, possibilities, and various relationships, in a strange near-future.

Disrupted is a 30-minute short film, inspired by satirical near-future tales such as Black Mirror and Doctor Who. The film follows the complicated lives of Detective Kathy Jenkins, Matt and Regina Kelly, and the rising star Georgie Taylor, as they realise that life isn’t so simple an affair.

FLIZZ | In the Darkness (2019)

Liverpudlian indie rock band ‘FLIZZ’ were in high need for their first music video, to add a face to their alluring tracks.
My main duties were as a runner, and as an extra on set. I also assisted in further fields, including lighting, set design, and production.  

Through this relationship with FLIZZ, they allowed me to use their tracks within the feature of ‘Disrupted’ 2019.

Liccle Bit (2019)

Based on the book by Alex Wheatle, this ten-minute dramatisation follows ‘Liccle Bit’ as he struggles with growing up in the rough neighbourhood of South Crongton, whether that be in his relationships with his peers, love-interests, gang culture or his family in their cramped flat. This story speaks out about the culture of growing up with black heritage and the assumptions that can be drawn from such culture.
